Just 2 for me this month, so very low for my usual amount. And I don't expect December to increase this by much
NEO: The World Ends with You (Replay) - Nov 14th
Genshin Impact - Chapter IV: Prelude of Blancheur and Noirceur - Nov 23rd
So, yeah. NEO: TWEWY I played with my girlfriend because I really wanted to show her the game. Shocker to nobody. And apart from that I got sucked back into the Genshin vortex and I'm fully into it now. Don't know for how long I'll keep playing this go around, but I'm hoping to at least finish up Chapter V and get at least current in main storyline quests and prepare for the last couple of chapters later on. I've also been playing some Digimon Cyber Sleuth and I'm about one third into the game. It's one of those that it's fun when I sit down and play but I don't feel the pull to actually start my playing session.
Good enough month I guess, but not one of the highlights of the year, for sure.

Yet another great month for me
Nov 4th: Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Nov 6th: Super Mario Kart
Nov 7th: Mario Kart 64
Nov 10th: Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Nov 10th: Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Nov 16th: Mario Kart DS
Nov 21st: Mario Kart Wii
Nov 26th: Mario Kart 7
Nov 30th: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
A lot of Mario Kart basically, I got through all of the main games. The best game was either Shadow of the Tomb Raider or Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I think I'll give it to the latter. The worst game this month is Super Mario Kart, which just hasn't aged well at all. Most of the older Mario Kart games have some issues so I didn't have that great of a time with them, but the last 4 games were really fun to play. Shadow of the Tomb Raider was fun, not my favorite but it was still pretty enjoyable. I'll be playing the Luigi's Mansion games throughout December, and probably a few others that I haven't decided on yet.

On November ___ I beat ___ and gave it a score of ___. I could probably differentiate these scores a bit more as I'm looking back at the month, but I'll leave them for how I was feeling at the time. For example, there could be a thicker line between the two 70s and the rest. The 75s I really did enjoy; they just weren't great. Then again, the 70s weren't bad, just slow; they had interesting stories. Anyway, I started to seriously burn out at work this semester and was just dumping time into gaming after doing whatever I absolutely had to be doing. That explains this whole year, really; waaaay more games completed than other years, and I still have a month to go (though probably not many completions in December because I'm in the middle of two longer games and there is traveling and holidays coming up).
Beat
07 – Resident Evil Village – 75%
12 – A Space for the Unbound – 70%
13 – Card Shark – 85%
13 – Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved – 90%
16 – Killer Frequency – 75%
18 – Genesis Noir – 85%
20 – Rumu – 85%
25 – Impostor Factory – 70%
Best
The best was Geometry Wars 3. I love a good twin stick shooter/bullet hell game, and this one was tight. It found over a dozen ways to iterate on its basic premise by changing the shape of the level. And the last boss, Topaz, was hard. I retried probably 30 or 40 times on Adventure Mode. I was about to quit, decided to give it one more focused effort, and beat it. Then I beat Topaz on Hardcore in one try immediately thereafter. That was a high high.
Worst
This is a tie between the two retro style narrative games, A Space for the Unbound and Impostor Factory. They were both okay, but both just so slow and basic in their gameplay.

I managed to beat three games in November:
Necromunda: Hired Gun - It's a real fun FPS game set in the Warhammer 40k universe. However, it's not a Triple-A product and it show, the game is full of jank. Despite that, the gunplay, the movement and the maps are really satisfying to play.
Persona 5: Strikers - Honestly I wasn't a huge fan of this one. It was nice to see and spend time with the Phantom Thieves again, and the story is still good, but everything else was just underwhelming or annoying. Unfortunately the game just compares unfavorably to it's original.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective - It's a very neat little adventure game from the same guys that made Ace Attorney. It's clever, and the story is engaging and full of twists. I can't really say anything bad about it, I can only recommend it.

Managed to beat 3 games this month which is pretty good for this year's standards. I also beat Tsumihoroboshi in Higurashi, but I don't consider that a seperate game.
November 1st - Stray - 7h 24m - (Main+) 8/10 - Started October 28th - 4 Days Taken - Beat the game, got all memories and badges and got 16/24 of the achievements.
November 3rd - SUPERHOT - 5h 30m - (Main+) 5/10 - Started November 1st - 2 Days Taken - Beat the game, two challenges and got 18/26 achievements.
November 21st - Kingdom Rush - 18h 42m - (Main+) 7/10 - Started: November 19th - Days Taken: 2 - Beat the campaign on normal and heroic. Beat all but the last two optional bosses. Got 68/74 achievements.
Short TLDR of my review:
Stray - Great cat vibes.
SUPERHOT - Cool idea, a little too difficult.
Kingdom Rush - Surprising amount of strategic depth.

Not a lot this time, but both good. Buckshot Roulette is really good especially now after the multiplayer update. Undead Nightmare is unfortunately quite buggy when played on Xbox One at least, it's still playable but it's annoying.

Happy gaming for December!
Happy gaming for December!

November 17th- Shadowrun Returns (Switch)
November 21st- Longest Night (Switch)
November 21st- Lost Constellation (Switch)
Shadowrun Returns was technically a replay since I played the PC version years ago, and I think I'll be sticking with that version if I ever play this again because the Switch version was a buggy nightmare. There weren't many issues at the beginning but they gradually got worse and by the end there were freezes and crashes galore, horrible loading times and some things just outright weren't working.
Longest Night and Lost Constellation were significantly less irritating. I played them before starting Night in the Woods and was planning on replaying them after finishing that, but I ended up retiring Night in the Woods because I didn't like how it felt to play on Switch.

Oh boy, this was a banger month for me in terms of number of completions. I beat 23 games this month! That's the most I've beaten since September 2022.
11/03 - Great Little War Game (Main+Extras 16h:19m)
11/04 - Monument Valley 2 (Completionist 2h:7m)
11/10 - Grand-Nya (Completionist 36m)
11/10 - Corvid's Night (Main+Extras 3h:41m)
11/10 - Half Haunt Halloween (Main 55m)
11/11 - Jill O' Lantern: First Slice (Completionist 1h:49m)
11/11 - Jill O' Lantern: Second Helping (Completionist 1h:23m)
11/11 - Happiness: An Affront to God (Completionist 2h:2m)
11/12 - Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo (Main+Extras 10h:47m)
11/14 - Kaiju Noir (Completionist 3h:28m)
11/14 - KALEIDOCLUB: Frostbite (Completionist 35m)
11/14 - KALEIDOCLUB: Bloodbag (Completionist 26m)
11/15 - KALEIDOCLUB: Tendrils (Completionist 20m)
11/17 - Katja's Abyss: Tactics (Main+Extras 5h:55m)
11/17 - LesbiAnts - Our New Morphology (Main+Extras 1h:17m)
11/17 - RABBIT (Completionist 25m)

11/23 - Slasher U - Act 1 (Main+Extras 6h:20m)
11/24 - Will Die Alone (Main+Extras 42m)
11/24 - Kitsune Zero (Completionist 2h:11m)
11/25 - The Dream Machine: Chapter 1 (Main+Extras 59m)
11/25 - The Dream Machine: Chapter 2 (Main+Extras 1h)
As you can see, mostly short games. I had a handful of good games and some pretty mediocre ones so it will be hard to pick a best and worst but I'll give it a shot. For worst, I'll go with the KALEIDOCLUB visual novels. They're very short smut stories not worth the digital paper they're printed on in my opinion. Grand-Nya, Half Haunt Halloween, Happiness: An Affront to God, and RABBIT are all visual novels that I didn't particularly enjoy. For best, I'll go with Katja's Abyss: Tactics, a very niche genre mashup of Minesweeper and turn-based tactics. I love both of those things and I think this game mixed them together pretty well. It's only like 8 levels though so the concept wasn't expanded too much. I also really liked Monument Valley 2 (puzzle game), Corvid's Night (old-school style dungeon crawler), the Jill O' Lantern visual novels, and Save the Magics!! (idle game).
I likely won't be beating many games for the next few months. If you look at my upcoming games collection you'll see I only have a couple short games left, then it's on to longer titles like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and KOTOR. I'll get back into the shorter ones after that collection is complete. I also just built a computer last week with all the Black Friday deals which is super exciting! I'll be working on getting that set up for a while too and don't want to switch over to it until I hopefully grab Nvidia's new RTX 50 series in January so it will still be a few weeks. I'm also also starting up my blog at the end of the year so look forward to that too! A lot of things going on right now.

Had a pretty solid month all though I had some rough patches regarding circumstances involving the people online on other websites turning out to be not so ideal but luckily media and especially video games are there to cheer me up when stuff like that happens. I was hoping to beat the original Silent Hill 2 before the month wrapped but it ultimately alluded November, but I did find the game to be painfully mediocre in every respect except visuals and music.
I didn't find a fresh favorite game this month however unfortunately, I did update the favorites list but it was Sly 1 and Silent Hill 1 which were games I already beaten before, and more so games I have a soft spot towards despite them having their problems. Still, a solid month for gaming considering the circumstances involving my former mutuals online on other sites. I was even able to beat Star Wars Outlaws even though it was a day if not hours after me being mentally distraught and while the stealth sections in that game can be frustrating when playing a decent-great game sure can help you get your mind off the stuff bothering you mentally, it's obvious stuff but it man, it's obvious stuff that can be overlooked. Timesplitters Future Perfect replay also really helped too, it was nice over the top fun game that I needed at that point even mediocre stuff like AC Rogue was interesting since it tackled themes like betrayal even if the story wasn't that great, it was interesting to play a game like that with me just going through one. I've rambled on enough solid month for game beats in spite all that has happened to me.

One completion for me this month!
11/23 - The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom (Switch) - 33h 3m
Definitely had fun with this one! And was nice to get it done pretty quickly in a couple of months, which is not something I've been able to do often with games of this size in recent years. I hope I can maybe get another completion or two before the year closes but this could potentially be the last completion of mine for the year.

9th - Bayonetta 3 (Switch) - 5/10
13th - Silent Hill 2 Remake (PS5) - 8/10
18th - Forza Horizon 4 (Series X) - 9/10
19th - Forza Horizon 4: Fortune Island (Series X) - 7/10
19th - Forza Horizon 4: LEGO Speed Championship (Series X) - 7/10
21st - Teleforum (PC) - 6/10
22nd - Grand Theft Auto III: Definitive Edition (Series X) - 4/10
23rd - Mouthwashing (PC) - 8/10
I bought the ultimate edition of Forza Horizon 4 before it was delisted and decided to "finish" what was left from when I played it a few years back. There isn't a clear definition of finishing Horizon 4 like there is with 5, at least as far as I made out, so I managed to clean up the base game plus the two expansions in 3-4 day window.
I also heard the GTA Definitive Edition trilogy got a big patch that answered the majority of complaints people had with it a few years ago, so I thought it would be worth checking out now. I'm sure VC & SA are still going to be fun revisiting, but 3 was an absolute slog that was unpleasant to play for most of its runtime.
Currently trying to pick a short game or two to finish before Indiana Jones releases next week.

Finished 3 games on this month, and it was the worst month in quality to me:
Nov 07 - Battlefield 1942 (5/10) - I know a lot of people love this game, but as a single player gamer I found it really outdated, in AI, in graphics, in systems, in storytelling, which is obvious, since is one of the first modern FPSs. Just my obsession of playing the games in order of release made me finish it.
Nov 18 - Revelations: Persona (5/10) - The best game of the month, I liked the story, liked the Persona system, liked the characters and the way the story is told by talking to them in stores and scensarios, but my god battle animations are repetitive (and unavoidable), and the game is extremely easy, until the final boss where you have to GRIND eternally, or endure an eternal battle of five hours or more until you are left in a tie.
Nov 23 - Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel (3/10) - By far the worst game I have played this year. Extremely repetitive, the combo you learn on the first 10 minutes is the only combo that will carry you through the game, and to really finish it you have to play it twice. Special mention to the voice acting in the game, which is "Take this!" "take that!" from Edward, and "OK!" from Alphonse, and they say some of the three phrases at least once every 5 seconds.
The story is a Fullmetal Alchemist story, which I like, full with voice acting from the original actors, and animation, and it's what gave the three points to the game, but nothing interesting.
